Rhonda's Memory Techniques

For last session of Kohatu we were asked to do a five minute talk/presentation about anything at all. Rhonda - our course facilitator had taught us all a memory technique that was helpful in remembering information. Using visualization and association, I decided I would offer a small presentation about blogging.

The memory technique lists twenty items that you use as a trigger/peg for what you want to remember. The first ten items are

1=Sun
2= Eyes
3= triangle
4=elements on a stove
5=fingers
6=pick up stix
7 = 7up
8= Octopus
9=Line
10=hen

Here is s my presentation. I missed the 7up , not sure why.

Hi Tania,

Have you been busy? I love the visualisations in the presentation.
How are you getting on with deciding to stay in practice or not?

Hi Pam, Have been very busy, three births this week, as well as all the postnatals and antenatals. With my next mokopuna (grandchild) due next year I know that case loading is not good for family life, i really want to be there for the birth and available as a support for my son and his partner. This has been a deciding factor for me.
Love midwifery, not the lifestyle.
